While out in Miami this week, we caught up with Wizz Havinn for a special edition “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about just being released from jail, not even announcing online that he was free, getting straight to work in the studio since he came home, describes his time away as a wake up call, setting himself up to have projects & music videos drop consistently while he was away, dropping a song called “First Day In”, having a solid support system while he was away, recording a “First Day Out” song when he was released, reveals what his new music is sounding like, experimenting with some new sounds, showing love to other artists, the unity amongst the Florida artists, wanting to start a label & put other artists on, his ear for beats, breaks down his creative process, most of his songs being under 2 minutes, explains how “4am At Coffee Zone” was created, fans calling them the Florida Avengers, adjusting to fame when his career blew up, helping put Tallahassee back on the map, having his legal troubles behind him now, shares advice for the youth, and much more!
