  • Sunday Evening Shout (Gospel/Spiritual Music) With JaVonne
Today's show will be recorded early but will be available for everyone this evening and beyond. More Gospel Music, More of your calls! More encouraging music from both gospel artists and artists who do not normally sing gospel music but are mainstream artists. More independent artists singing for God and songs that may not necessarily be "gospel" but they are songs that encourage me and I hope you are feeling me on their meaning. This show is positive and affirming to EVERYONE! The show is normally on live at 7PM on Sunday evenings, but today, we're going to do it at 1PM. So if you weren't able to get to church today but want some company and inspiration, tune in!

  • Sunday Evening Shout (in the basement with JaVonne)
Yes, I love gospel music and uplifting music and so I've decided to spend a little time on Sunday evenings in my basement playing gospel  and uplifting music and talking to you. Hopefully, we can keep one another uplifted in spirit and praise God together. No judgements in the basement, that's not my job. We will have special guests drop in from time to time, because that's how we do it in the basement. Also, we will have special contests from time to time, so if you love gospel, love to sing gospel, and love your neighbor as you love yourself, you're in the right place

  • Sunday Evening Shout (in the basement with JaVonne)
Be sure to follow WJBR right here on Blogtalkradio. Tune in and call in tonight to hear some of our favorite gospel songs. I'm in the spirit tonight and just want to play some uplifting music for you. May be old school, may be some modern day contemporary gospel, may just be positive message music, may be gospel house. The great thing about doing this show is that I can play whatever I want to play and do whatever I want to do and in that order. The only thing I can promise is that the music and conversation will be uplifting and positive. I'm getting ready for the week ahead and starting it off on a positive note!

Follow us here on WJBR (Internet Radio for the Inquisitive Mind and the Sophistocated Ear) Kenny Bobien is widely known as King of Gospel House Music. Soaring over soulful house music beats and vibes is Kenny's undeniably beautiful falsetto. While your moving your body to the afrocentric soulful rhythms you realize that you are singing gospel praise songs. "I shall not be moved" "Father" and so many other wonderfully danceable praisable songs will remind you as your getting your groove on or while your in the groove that you are still a precious child of God! I love Kenny's music and message! Personally, I call him The Father of Gospel House but, King is apt as he reigns supreme in this genre of music. Join Nathan James with "What's Going On?"  Meka Rae for "The G-Spot" and Kenny Bobien as he celebrates 25 years in the music industry on Brunch In The Basement With JaVonne.
