WKXL - New Hampshire Talk Radio

On Tuesday's program we celebrated the record 18th NBA championship for the Boston Celtics and also discussed some Celtics history. Our guest in studio was the Public Address voice of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings and, ironically enough, a lifetime fan of the Dallas Mavericks who lost the Celtics in the NBA Finals.

Monday's topics were numerous including, the Red Sox record-breaking performance against the Yankees and the Celtics' pursuit of Banner #18 as our sports guru John Leahy joined us for a Monday visit. Also on the list of topics, summer vacation destinations, Eversource's rate hike and George Strait's record shattering concert over the weekend.

I’m not even sure where to begin describing the chat I had with my long time friend Clint Klose. We talked about the one act play festival that his students from Concord High School participated in and their success there. Clint then talked about RB Productions (hint: they are unbelievably busy), his role there and then out of the blue he dropped a piece of remarkable breaking news about RB and its future with CCA-NH. Lastly, Clint goes into details about the success of his program at CRTC (Concord Regional Technical Center). Along the way he name drops some of his students which have gone on to act on Broadway!

Phil Taub, Co-Founder and Board Chair, of "Swim With a Mission" was our guest on Thursday. Mr. Taub and his organization have raised over 10-million dollars for veterans services in the past seven years. What I love about speaking with Andrew, besides the magic, is the history behind some of the magic that he brings. His knowledge of his craft is downright fascinating! AND he did not one, but, TWO pieces of magic in the studio. One that you can perform at home while he’s performing it in the studio and another that just blew my mind!!! The Executive Vice President and General Manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway David McGrath was with us Wednesday to preview the next two weekends at the track. The motorcycles will be there this weekend and next weekend NASCAR moves in with racing all week culminating with the USA Today 301 Cup race a week from Sunday. www.NHMS.com
