Dave Pallone is the former Major League Baseball umpire who worked in the National League from 1979 to1988.Some of the more memorable game he umpired in were the 1983 Major League Baseball All-Star Game and the 1987 National League Championship Series. He was the home plate umpire when Pete Rose tied Ty Cobb for the most hits (4192); Nolan Ryan's 4,000th strikeout on July 11, 1985, and on September 25, 1986 he was the second base umpire when Mike Scott of the Houston Astros pitched a 2-0 no-hitter against the San Francisco Giants to clinch the NL West Division championship.He is the author of his autobiography, Behind the Mask: My Double Life in Baseball, which became New York Times best-seller, and does diversity training for corporations, colleges, universities and athletes with the NCAA. He was part of the first class of inductees to The National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.

Peter Golenbock is so synonymous with Baseball he has his own page on Baseball reference, he is a prolific sports writer. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1967 and the New York University School of Law in 1970.Growing up he was a fan of the New York Yankees. His favorite players were Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford. A few years after graduating from law school, he was hired to work in the legal department of Prentice-Hall Publishing where he convinced the head of the trade book division to allow him to write a book on the Yankees. The resulting work, Dynasty: The New York Yankees 1949-64, became a best seller.The Rest as they say is history.He went on to write five New York Times best sellers. Some of his most well known books are The Bronx Zoo (written with Sparky Lyle), BUMS: An Oral History of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Personal Fouls, American Zoom, and Wild, High and Tight: The Life and Death of Billy Martin. He also co-wrote Balls with Graig Nettles, Guidry with Ron Guidry, Bats with Davey Johnson, Number 1 with Billy Martin and They Called Me God with Doug Harvey.He also was a radio sports talk show host in 1980 on WOR right herein New York as well as the color broadcaster for the St. Petersburg Pelicans in 1989-90. Nick Fotiu is the first professional hockey player from Staten Island to ever play for the NHL's New York Rangers.

He began his career in the World Hockey Association with the New England Whalers in the 1974–75 season. Two years later, he signed with his hometown Rangers, where his role as an enforcer endeared him to Ranger fans. He was loved for his fighting style, which he picked up as a golden-gloves boxer, and that he was the first NYC-born Ranger. He played with the Rangers until 1979, when he was claimed by the Hartford Whalers in the 1979 NHL Expansion Draft. His popularity as a Ranger was enhanced by his willingness to throw pucks up into the Madison Square Garden "blue seats" after pre-game warmups, where previously he sat as a young fan. The "blue seats" were the least expensive and farthest seats from the action, far beyond where pucks would normally land during game play. He Joins Mark and AJ to remember MR Hockey Gordie Howe.

Jerry Koosman had an amazing 19 year career in the majors, his 222 wins place him 73 all time in Major League baseball history 17th amongst Lefties, His , Only Tom Seaver and Dwight Gooden won more games as a Met,  He was a 2 time all-star, a member of the 1969 World Series Champion Miracle Mets and a member of the New York Mets Hall of Fame, he is also the last Met pitcher to start a Mets Old TImers game 22 years ago , He Joins Mark and Aj to talk about that and more.

George "The Stork" Theodore roamed the Shea Stadium outfield and played some first base as well  in 1973 and 74, he played 105 regular season games and 2 world series games. He is probably best remembered for a brutal outfield collision with Don Hahn in a game against the Atlanta Braves at Shea Stadium in 1973, in which he dislocated his hip.After his baseball career, he returned to his home town of Utah, got a master's degree in social work, and worked for 38 years as a counselor to elementary school students. This year , South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce named him Educator of the Year.
