This week Pastor Haagon begins a new Wednesday night teaching in the book of Romans. We first look at an overview of Paul's life, as well as the cultural background of the Roman Church to understand the historical context. As we begin reading in Romans chapter 1, Pastor Haagon shows how to bring the teaching to the Roman Church into our lives today, so we may grow, and walk fully in the calling God has over our lives.

If we are to walk a life worthy of the sacrifice Jesus made, we cannot operate in the knowledge the world offers. The Bible tells us t renew our mind, so that we can know and then do the perfect will of God. Wisdom can be one of the most under-rated things people can pursue from God; but it needs to be one of the most sought after. We tend to seek wisdom from those around us, and there isn't anything wrong with that! The Holy Spirit should be the first we ask though. The Wisdom of God will lead us, save us, and grow us. Happy Easter! For our Easter Sunday Service Pastor Haagon continues over our series of The Day That Changed Everything, and that was Jesus' Resurrection. It's not just the point of Jesus being arrested, beaten , or killed; but that He was resurrected from death and that has never before happened! Now that he has been resurrected we are now brought into new life when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

This week in James, Pastor Haagon focuses on our speech. In James chapter 3, there is a strong emphasis on our words. It is one of the most powerful tools, whether we realize it or not, with the Bible saying the Power of Death and Life are in the tongue. Just as a metal bit can control a horse, the tongue can control the direction our lives take.

For this Sunday, we at Word of Faith came to take Communion as a Faith Family. Pastor Haagon shares about the importance of why we take Communion. Please join us and take part at home with Family, and remember the joy we have from the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus.

The Resurrection of Jesus has allowed us to walk into the door that makes us Sons and Daughters of God, and we need to know how we can now live, showing others was Jesus has freely given to all.
