Denver-based hip-hop artist Jerney returns to the show, this time with his friend and manager Nyall Cook. Nyall manages Jerney under the umbrella of his own management company, At Night Group. Jerney, Nyall, and Don Chenz discuss Jerney's latest project Dreadlock Shawty, the state of hip-hop in the streaming era, artists making shorter songs and "albums," how much input a manager should give to their artist with regards to their music, what a manager's role should be, negotiating contracts with record labels, the difficulties for an independent artist to market their music, and more!

Eric Leija, aka Primal Swoledier, is an Instagram fitness influencer and Senior Kettlebell Coach at Onnit Academy in Austin, Texas. Eric grew up as a self-described chubby kid with social anxiety and was teased by his siblings before taking up fitness and Mixed Martial Arts. After diving head fist into the world of psychedelics and struggling to make friends, Eric decided to drop out of college and traveled to train with some elite MMA fighters, including TJ Dillashaw and Duane Ludwig.
