Navigating the corporate world can be a difficult undertaking for any novice, but for Julius Blue, Electrical Engineer at Duke Energy, navigating as an African American man was that much harder. In this episode, Julius recounts his career path, and how he was able to overcome the hurdles he faced as a minority to launch a successful career. But his challenges didn’t end there as Julius had to live the life of a person of color in a mega corporation. In the time of the apex of the Black Lives Matters movement, he details his emotional story, and how he was able to find support in his career.
