Did you know PowerPoint/visuals can impact your presentation?

Some speakers think they can just throw anything together, but if your audience can’t read your presentation or see your visuals, they won’t be interested. Consider your visual contrast, font size, and white space (blank space), so people can see what you’re highlighting and speaking about.

Three points regarding the role of visuals in public speaking: #1-they enhance understanding; 2-they help to grab and maintain the attention of your audience; #3-they are helpful for individuals who may have learning disabilities. 

Sharon Rand also talks about her testimony of how she didn’t know the difference of simply talking and speaking or how she learned to work with visuals better in her message from the stage.

Hello everyone. This is Sharon and I’m still here. Just in the batcave, is all. As you can tell the WOM Podcast has been under construction. The new name of the podcast is the WOM Public Speaking Podcast and really it’s basically a change in-name only. The content remains the same.

I will, however, focus more on the WOM Academy, our public speaking certification, and all things that lead up to it.
