There are moments in life that feel small at the time — a cup placed in your hands, a quiet prayer, a feeling you can’t quite explain.

And then, over years…they reveal themselves as turning points.

This episode is a reflection on a ten-year journey with cacao — not just as a plant, but as a relationship.

A relationship that has been devotional, expansive…and at times, deeply confronting.

From my very first cup of ceremonial cacao from Guatemala, where I made a simple, almost innocent prayer to meet my husband, to many years later… marrying a man from that very land.

But the journey in between was anything but linear.

This is the story of how I met my husband,but more truthfully, it’s the story of how I became the woman who could receive him.

Because on paper, we make no sense.

He is logic. Structure. Corporate. Grounded. Consistent in a way that used to both fascinate and unsettle me.

And me?

I’ve always been… elsewhere. Creative. Emotional. Multidimensional. Deep in the unseen, the symbolic, the intuitive — what you might call away with the fairies.

For a long time, I thought love would mean finding someone who lived in my world.

But the real shift came when I realised:I wasn’t here to find my mirror — I was here to meet my opposite, and integrate it.

Because before I met him, there was work.

Not the kind you see on Instagram.Not just manifestation lists and vision boards.

Real work.

Meeting my own inner masculine the part of me that could hold structure, that could choose consistency over chaos, that could stay when things felt uncomfortable.

Learning commitment.Learning boundaries.Learning how to follow through on my own life.

And honestly, grieving the parts of me that hid in avoidance, that called it “flow” when it was actually fear.

This podcast is not just a love story.

It’s about polarity.It’s about integration.It’s about what happens when a woman rooted in intuition learns to meet structure — without losing her magic.

And what becomes possible when love is no longer something you chase…but something you are finally able to hold.
