About Lisa:
Lisa Kirbie has spent close to two decades working for the government, a public sector not-for-profit agency, and a communications and government relations firm.
Some highlights include that she has worked for a former national party leader’s office, lead issues management in a War Room for an election, and is an award-winning public relations professional that has had many government relations successes.
Lisa’s latest endeavour is Blackbird, a public affairs consulting firm. Which also hosts the podcast Bird on the Wire.
Lisa is the mother of two grown children and a grandma to a very busy little boy. Finn, a very spoiled chocolate lab, is Lisa's constant companion.

Marci Ien is a devoted Mother, award-winning Journalist, Author, and Member of Parliament for Toronto Centre who has dedicated her life to providing a voice for those who need it most. Born in St. Jamestown and raised in Toronto, where she lives with her children Blaize and Dash, Marci has seen first hand the opportunities and challenges Toronto faces. Marci is a passionate advocate for vulnerable communities in Canada and around the world.
Today, she serves as the voice of Toronto Centre constituents as the only Black Woman in the House of Commons and continues to fight for inclusion, equality and ensuring that everyone in Toronto Centre and across Canada have a fair chance at success.

Processional hockey player Brooke Stacey recently played with the Buffalo Beauts in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL). Brooke has had a hockey career, full of standout moments. She was a finalist for the 2021 NWHL Denna Laing Award which is Awarded to the player who most exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to her sport. She was announced as an All-Star in last year’s NWHL season. She also represented Canada at the 2014 IIHF U18 World Championship, winning a gold medal.
