In this episode, we’ll walk through 5 steps you can take to start doing just that and continuing to move toward fully owning your power.

Part of owning your power is getting control of your schedule. You can do that by creating structure and routines, opening the door to living with more intention and purpose.

What structures have you created for your life? What are your daily routines? Be sure they're working FOR you and not against you.

In this episode, I offer some questions to consider as you navigate how to implement structure and routines, or perhaps restructure them.

Michelle Sakhai, New York City based artist, sharing about how her experience visiting family in Japan every summer while growing up informs her art and how she lives her life.

In this episode, you'll feel that respect and light coming through in Michelle's way of being. There's such grounded strength and gentleness in her words and her paintings.

We talk about how Michelle naturally tunes into her body, mind, and spirit when she's painting, what she's learned from teaching transformative art at the Harlem Hospital, and how her spirituality has evolved over time. Your life purpose is about being in service of something much bigger than yourself. When you’re clear about your purpose, it’s easier to choose where you will focus your energy, or not; where you will say yes, or no. And, of course, how you spend your time is how you spend your life. You want it to be in service of something that makes the world a better place.

When you know your purpose, it’s your north star. It provides direction, it helps you to get back on track, it gives you more confidence in the decisions you make.

In this episode, Erin’s passion for art, education, and travel is palpable. There are so many intriguing layers to her that we explore. Erin is authentic to her core, and with such a beautiful spirit, you can feel the realness when you’re in her presence.

We talk about the joy of being in her art studio, Yonder, in Algoma, Wisconsin and her focus on making work about women and exploring aspects of the feminine. In addition, Erin shares about community engagement in bringing art to public places with the more than 30 mural projects she has led in the past five years.

We discuss her role as an educator and how she encourages students to participate in the world around them and be an active agent for positive change. We also talk about the delight she finds in traveling, meeting new people, immersing herself in different cultures, and learning new things about herself along the way.
