  • Green and Black's Founder Jo Fairley on why we should lose 'mumpreneur' label
You’d think that mums who are bold enough to set up business from home while also looking after the children and all that goes with would be admired and respected for their choices. But of course we live in a labels world now and apparently the incredibly patronising term ‘mumpreneur’ is increasingly in use - and it's putting people off. Part of the problem of course is that you would never hear the equivalent ‘Dadpreneur’. But should this put you off starting a new business from your kitchen table? Christy caught up with Jo Fairley – founder of Green and Black’s chocolate – to find out what’s really wrong with terms like this. And if you’re on a mission this New Year to start a New Venture, don’t be put off - she has some great advice from MoneyCorp to help break through some of those business barriers.

  • Heather Morris, author of International Best Seller The Tattooist of Auschwitz
By now, some of you may already know the name Lale Sokolov. The remarkable story of his time in Auschwitz has become a best selling book after an encounter with screenwriter Heather Morris led to the formation of a very important friendship. Lale was largely responsible for creating the most iconic, identifying feature of the Holocaust- the blue numbers that he was made to tattoo onto fellow prisoners' arms. What makes this story so memorable is his incredible zest for life – and the love story that developed against all odds, one that became a romance surviving for 60 years, decades after the camps closed. Difficult though the story is, it is a story of hope and of courage. Christy spoke with Heather to find out more about Lale and how she came to write the extraordinary book.
