Today we will be talking about the presence of God and why so often we don't feel it!  We will give tips on what we can do to remedy that along with working through what the role of the Holy Spirit is in our life!

Today we begin our new series in Acts!  There is so much confusion in Christian circles about the Holy Spirit so today we will see how the Holy Spirit and the Bible work together!  We will talk about how we can know if the Holy Spirit is REALLY speaking to us and why we have to be very careful who we are listening to!

After journeying with King David, the "man after God's own heart" for 15 lessons spanning over 50 years of his life...today we will end our series as we see the important words he gives to his son before he dies. We will take a look back on some valuable lessons we learned from David regarding the ups and downs of life as we remember that "This is Life!"

Today we will see David in one of the darkest hours of his life as the dysfunction of his family hits him full force. We will learn that no matter what happens in our life we can always say "It is Well...with my soul!"

As we have been studying the life of David we have seen the consequences of his disobedience to the commands of God but what about those GREY areas that aren't commands?  What about smoking or drinking?  What about gambling and movies?  Join us today for what might surprise you!

God gives us His Word to protect us and keep us from trouble in our lives.  He is not a killjoy.  Every command He gives is to promote good in our lives. Today we will see how David makes a devastating decision and because of this his life comes spiraling downward.  The sad part of this story is that  all of this could have been stopped if David had just done what God asked him to in the first place!

Bad things happen to people in life and many times it is because of the choices we make. But many times bad things happen and it is no fault of our own. Join us today as we see David seek out a crippled man from the desert of Lodebar and what we see is a picture of how God feels about us regardless of our past and what we have done or what others have done to us!
