A Christian usually will lose their faith, not because of argument, but because of atmosphere.  How does a Christian resist the pull of a non-Christian culture?  Daniel 6 answers this question.

Our understanding of the Father heart of God changes everything about us.  So, what is the Father's heart like?

We study the parallel king in Daniel 5.  We see that he is contrasted to his predecessor and is called out by God for increasing sin in his life.  We tend to respond in one of two was when our sin is brought to the surface: We either repent or we continue in our way.  But, in this message, we will be encouraged to allow the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts and give us the opportunity to repent and take on His life-giving way.

We study Daniel chapter 3 and take a closer look at the king.  We discover his motivation for building an "image" and threatening the fiery furnace, and that we are often motivated by the same thing: control. Yet, like the three jews in this story, we can find freedom in trusting our God.

In this message, we study Daniel 2. A surprising string of events has brought a defeated, exile to the foot of the throne of the most powerful person in the ancient world.  It is in the scene that God's power is revealed in Daniel and brings this world power to his knees testifying that Daniel's God is the Lord of all.  Much can be learned from this story.  To that end, we invite you to listen to this study.
