Have you heard the saying "Don't look in the rear view mirror! You aren't going that way!" It resonates with me because I'm always looking ahead but sometimes you do have to pause, reflect and look backwards (even if it's extremely painful) to see how far you have come. Aric and I were recently having this conversation about our journey. We are on our 4th season of this podcast. It’s so easy to forget your why on a long journey and especially when your story takes a turn you never saw coming. Ironically our why and purpose stayed the same which kept us hitting the record button even in the lowest of lows. What is our why? To create space for BROKEN families and share our struggles and lessons. This episode does just that and it just so happens to be in the rear view mirror with a wise, BEAUTIFUL 20 year old lady just 4 1/2 months before she left this world.
