Mahita El Bacha Urieta has a cultural rich background and spent years in many different countries. Her career began in archaeology in Beirut, she went on to study art and culture policy and management. Her growing interest in the human condition eventually led her to study psychosynthesis psychology, psychotherapeutic counselling and life coaching at the Institute of Psychosynthesis and Middlesex University in London. She now brings her whole self to her practice as a Counsellor and Life Coach.

In this episode, we discussed the journey to understanding and deeply knowing ourselves. The pain and suffering during the process and how to emerge with more compassion and self-love.

Mary's journey to become a life coach began over 13 years ago when I found myself depressed after her father’s passing. Having lost her mom at a young age, she learned to grow up fast but never had the tools she needed to help her overcome loss and other childhood traumas. She found relief through running, yoga and Zumba® Fitness. Eventually she became a Group Fitness Instructor and was blessed to be able to provide the same therapy to others. The natural progression from there was becoming a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist and now Life Coach.

We discuss grief and the process of healing that works for each individual and what it takes to empower yourself from overthinking to achieving your goals and dreams.
