Danielle was very proud to tell our very own Dana Dunn how, just two days before this interview took place, she realised her ultimate dream had come true and was able to quit her regular day job to become a Pet-Sitting Expert and Coach.

Dana: In this segment we're going to be speaking with one of our very own rising stars. So today it's my personal pleasure to introduce you all to Danielle Chonody; Danielle, welcome.

Danielle: Hello, it's great to be here.

Dana: Well, hopefully I said your last name correctly.

Danielle: You were pretty close. It's Chonody.

Dana: Chonody! Okay, well we've got that now; so Danielle Chonody. Well Danielle, for the listeners who don't yet know anything about you if you could just share with us a little bit about you and what you do, a little bit about your business.

Danielle: Well, I started my business in 2003 and initially I started off just as a home based pet-sitting business, doing in-home pet sitting. We basically care for people's pets when they travel on vacation or if they have a long workday, sometimes we'll do midday visits. Since 2003 it's really grown and it's kind of launched a couple of other businesses for me. Also blogging and sharing what I've learned with other pet sitters and that's kind of led into me starting an association this past April with another pet sitter, called The Association of Pet Sitting Excellence.

Dana: Oh, how exciting. You know I'm finding, do you see, especially since you've been in the business since 2003, do you see this big influx of more and more pet sitting businesses and more involved owners of pets who want to make sure that their pets are looked after during the daytimes or walked, the park or things like that?

Danielle: Yeah, I really think the overall awareness of pet sitting has grown since I first started and there's definitely a lot of new pet sitters entering the market because the demand is growing as the awareness is growing.  It's an alternative to boarding pets where they're in a very noisy and perhaps stressful environment. So there are a lot of pets out there that just are not really suited to that and they're a lot more comfortable in their home. So I think yeah, the awareness is growing and with that there are a lot more brand new pet sitting businesses out there.

Dana: Well, and like you said, you really said it beautifully as far as the awareness, because I think more pet owners are being very concerned about taking their pets to a place maybe they're not familiar or comfortable with, especially if their owners have to be away for a period of time. Because I've got two, one is very friendly, she loves everybody and I've got one who is scared to death of everybody. So the anxiety level . . .

Danielle: Oh, we have the same! We have the same, but we have cats.  So I know you have dogs.

Dana: Yeah, so it's the anxiety level and you know when you love your pets as much as I know we do, to just reassure them and let someone that they start to feel comfortable with come to the home. What a great service that you have. I love it; I love what you're doing. Now tell me a little bit more and share with everybody how you were first introduced to Janet Beckers and the Wonderful Web community.

Danielle: Well it's been several years and I think I was probably one of the early members of Wonderful Web Women. I'm currently a lifetime gold member.

Dana: Margaret welcome to the call.

Margaret: Dana, thank you so much for having me on the call today.

Dana: Well, it’s absolutely our pleasure. If you don’t mind, please share with our listeners a little about you and your business.

Margaret: Well Dana, I’m a parenting expert here in Australia, Down Under. I was a later in life mum. I had my daughters when I was 39 and 41 and they’re now teenagers and my whole business is focussed around parenting and how to help mums and children. And so, just to tell you a little bit more about my business, Dana I love what I do, my business - I specialise at the moment in bedtime and toilet training solutions. So Dana, remember when your kids were babies and toddlers and you wished you had someone who could help you to get them to sleep easily and quickly and stay asleep all night?

Dana: Oh definitely.

Margaret: And then when they were potty training. Didn’t you wish you had someone who could have taught you a one day toilet training method? Well, that’s what I do. I teach mums around the world how to quickly and easily get their babies and toddlers to fall asleep in a really warm and loving way and how to toilet train them in just one day. And then, I add a really unique flavour to all this. I teach and show mums energy tools that will help them to harmonise themselves and their families so that they are mums who have really calm centred amazing energy that then flows onto their children and families so that their kids become calmer and happier unique children that they are meant to be. I’m so lucky to do what I do.

Dana: Oh my goodness Margaret. I tell you, just even hearing your voice. You’ve calmed me down from quite a busy day. What an incredible business and service that you provide to families. I think it’s just wonderful. Now you’ve been a Gold Member, I know personally, to Wonderful Web Women for quite some time now haven’t you?

Margaret: Yes I’ve been a member ever since Wonderful Web Women started and now I’m what they call a ‘mentor member’.

Dana: A mentor member. So what is it that you do as a mentor member?

Margaret: A mentor member is a person who’s been a Gold Member over a number of years, I think it’s over 2 years and then we are called upon to mentor any newbies.

Dana: Oh wonderful. What a great place to be. I know with two years under your belt with Janet, you’ve probably got a lot of great information and a wealth of information to share with these other women.  Now, was there a particular call that you listened to of Janet’s that you can just, really stands out, that made a big difference in your life and in your business?

Dana: Today, it’s my personal pleasure to introduce our youth to Zoe Routh. Zoe, welcome.

Zoe: Thank you and I love being called a Rising Star. That’s fantastic.

Dana: Well, in some regards, I think you’ve already risen. But we’re very proud to feature you.

Zoe: Thank you. I love being here.

Dana: Well, let’s get into this a little bit. And if you don’t mind, let’s just share a little bit more about you, and what you do for business, with the rest of our listeners.

Zoe: Sure, be delighted to. I’m a Law of Attraction Leadership coach. And I’ve been running my own business since 2002. I started off by doing one-to-one coaching.  And then I’ve extended my business offerings to include an online membership program, a suite of online self-development programs. And I also run workshops and retreats.

Dana: Oh, fantastic.  Now, how were you first introduced to Janet Beckers and the Wonderful Web Community?

Zoe: You know what, I was just remembering when I did first meet her.   It was at an event in Sydney and Ali Brown was one of the speakers in it.  She was a member in Ali Brown’s community as well, a silver member, I think.

And I gave a testimony about Ali’s program.  And then all these other people who were in Ali’s program put up their hand and we sort of clustered together at the back of the room because we’re all, we’re heading over to an event later on that year.  So, there was about four or five of us on this.  I’m a Canadian instill so I don’t sound totally Aussie but I’m adopted here in to this beautiful country.

And we kind of gathered at the back of the room and made connections.  So that when I first met Janet and she was just first, actually just started her business.  Hadn’t been going for very long.  And I got her card and we agreed that we would meet up in the Los Angeles at this conference.

And we did.  And we had such a good time.  There was about, there ended up being five or six of us from Australia.  And we hung out together and discuss how we would apply what we learned about running online businesses in Australia, in Australian context.

And then we formed a Master Mind together.  So, I was lucky enough to be in an intimate Master Mind with Janet herself for the last eighteen months.  And we’re taking a little bit of a break in the format of how we run our Master Mind.  But that is how we were first introduced.

Dana: Awesome. Isn’t that great how great minds work together and then you end up forming this Master Minds.  Wow!

(http://wonderfulwebwomen.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Andrea-150x220.jpg)After graduating with a BSc in Computer Science and System Analysis, I started my working career in Argentina as a System Analyst.  At that time, I was an extremely shy person, and the last thing my family and friends expected of me was that I would leave my familiar surroundings to move to another country. I was twenty-six years old and I felt the urge to prove myself.  Knowing nothing about the country, except that I’d like to go there, I moved to South Africa.

I worked in the IT Industry in South Africa, UK and USA for fifteen years, and in my spare time, I studied psychology and continued my own spiritual journey through meditation, and reading. But all along I was searching for something that would make me happier, my life purpose.  I had always loved self development and read my first books when I was a teenager. I read the first Anthony Robbins books when many people did not even know about him. All along I dreamed of becoming a motivational speaker or writer. But my own limitations did not allow for that.  The more I searched for my inner happiness, the more I was told I had a problem accepting happiness, and my frustration was diagnosed as depression.

With the birth of my first child at the age of 40, a late mother, I decided I needed a career change. I tried different things, from translation, to being a virtual assistant. But it was only when I was pregnant with my daughter three years later, that I was finally ready for life coaching. I had heard of it before this time, but my personal beliefs had stopped me from exploring it further.

I certified as a New Insights life coach at the end of 2008, and this allowed me to find the courage to give up my IT career of 23 years to follow my passion.  This would not have been possible without the support of my personal coach, and the personal changes I’ve made.  It was a life-changing leap of confidence that allowed me to discover yet another passion, Internet Marketing.

At the same time, my itchy feet led me again to another country and I am now living in Australia. My goal is to work and commute between Argentina, South Africa and Australia, which nowadays is very possible to do. I have recently launched, inspired by many people like Janet Beckers,  another site where I am helping people to find the inner happiness we all deserve as human beings. http://www.ahappierself.com (http://www.ahappierself.com/)

Ankya: Thank you, Dana. I’m so happy to with you today and with your listeners.

Dana: We are thrilled to have you and definitely to highlight you as one of the Wonderful Web Radio’s Rising Stars.  So we could just start out a little bit.  We’ve got a little of time to together today, but I would love it if you share with everyone a little bit more about you and what you do for your business.

Ankya: Sure, I’m a photographer currently, but my journey has been to various different disciplines and as we all know, life is a journey and that everything we do along the way connects together and creates who we are.  So I’ve been an artist, and a mom, and a natural therapist.  I have drawn on all these resources in what I’m doing now which is doing transformational photography, supporting women to embrace and embody who they are.  I’ve also travelled around the world, born in Europe and travelled in Asia and Africa a lot and that opened my mind to different cultures and to what really connects us all together, and what’s the heart beat, what connects us, what’s the same in all of us and that’s what I bring to my work here.  Yeah.

Dana: Oh, fantastic.  What an interesting life you have, so far.
