Hi my name is Saida Mahoney I am a proud 29 year old transgender man living my life to the fullest with my genetic disease, my rare diseases, my disabilities and chronic medical conditions!

I am a man. I am proud. I am thriving.

I am also medically fragile and medically fragile. I live with rare diseases, a genetic condition, chronic medical conditions, and disabilities.

Some may call me “complex.” some may call me “too fragile” I call myself resilient, capable, bold and unstoppable.

On March 18 2026, I will undergo my double incision top surgery. This is not just a procedure. This is my body aligning with my identity, my courage facing the unknown, and my life claiming its own power.

I have been an athlete for a very long time.

Long before people understood all the layers of who I am and what I was all about in my own unique powerful brave way.

I am a Special Olympics athlete and a athlete with my adaptive sports organizations

I am transgender.

I am a proud, multi-identity member of the LGBTQIA community.

I live with rare diseases.

I navigate chronic medical conditions. I am thriving on Testosterone as an athlete and I get to educate everyone what it is like being an athlete on the journey of gender affirming care and HRT!!!!

I had to permanently withdraw from all the colleges I went to and attended I also closed that chapter completely permanently to keep myself healthy and happy

I have built myself up and became successful in my own unique way
