Today, I had fun reconnecting with Brandi. I first met Brandi about 7 years ago, when she was a college student in my husband's meditation class on campus. One year ago, this May, Brandi's father died while climbing Mt. Everest. Brandi shares some of the tools and experiences she has used and had that have helped her and others out of the grief, darkness and heavy times sometimes life can offer us. Her desire is to help others at this time of concern and uncertainty to recognize that there is Divine timing in life and it can be a glorious unfolding.

Today Rob Decker shares his testimony that redemption is possible. Having grown up in abuse, addiction, and trauma, Rob found himself in a destructive life pattern with no hope for escape. After an attempted suicide by jumping head first out of a closed three-story window, his foot miraculously clipped an awning and changed the trajectory of his fall. With a broken back, instead of death, he now had the chance to get to know the Lord and start on a path of healing and redemption. Rob shares a powerful testimony that gives hope to others in similar circumstances. (warning for younger listeners-there are adult themes in this episode)

Today, Dayle shares two beautiful stories that illustrate the principle, that when we act in faith, God will provide a way. As a farming family, there came a time when they were in deep financial debt. At this same time Dayle felt spiritual impressions that it was time to have another baby but she could not see how this would be financially wise or even possible. While stepping forward with faith she witnessed the miracle of financial provision at this time of need. She will also share a miraculous story of the time when God provided a way to rid her yard of snakes. Some great reminders that with God nothing is impossible.

Today I enjoyed hearing my cousin Cody's miracle story of job loss and journey with unemployment. While something like this never feels like part of a divine plan, he shares some of the ways he did see God during this difficult time. He saw life lessons he personally needed and ultimately an unexpected job offer that leaves no doubt in Cody's mind that God was in charge of this whole experience.

Today Heather shares a miraculous experience she had as she was seeking answers from doctors to help save her baby's life. Harrison was diagnosed first with "failure to thrive" but there were mysterious underlying causes behind his inability to receive nourishment. After two years of dead ends from the medical field, she finally got a new diagnosis of EOE (Eosinophilic esophagitis). Yet she still had no solutions to the problem. In a moment of desperate prayer, she received a very clear message from God on how to help her son heal. She pulled into her mother's intuition and followed her instincts and instructions from God and soon her boy started to gain weight and heal. Now that he is a strong nine-year-old boy, the miracle of this experience is not lost on her.

Today Alison shares a truly mystically wonderous experience she had as she was on her journey to sobriety. After coming close to death, she knew if she didn't change her ways, she only had six months to live. As she was facing the second step of AA, which is: "came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity," she experienced this Power first hand and it completely changed her life forever. Alison has now been sober for over 16 years and truly experienced the best thing you could never imagine.

Today Chris shares the sweet miracles of having a baby with trisomy 18. Her baby Emily beat the odds of trisomy 18 by surviving both pregnancy and birth. Chris shares the miracles she experienced with Emily and the amazing support her friends and community offered their family during this time. I am honored to have Kunthea share her tragic yet miraculous story of surviving the killing fields in Cambodia. After losing everyone in her family, in a moment of desperation as she was about to be killed, she cried out to an unknown God to save her. And save her He did! After spending nine years separated from her home and family, living in child labor camps and refugee camps, she was able to come to the United States to start a new life. Here she found the gospel of Jesus Christ and learned the power of forgiveness and the joy in feeling the love God has for her and for all mankind.

Gary, my guest this week, is here to share his miraculous recovery from a massive brain bleed. When Gary's wife found him convulsing on their floor one morning, she called 911. After scanning his brain, he was diagnosed as having a dural AV fistula. The doctor called this bleed a monstrosity and was shocked to find that it had spontaneously healed a few weeks later on Easter Sunday. Gary's story has so many tender mercies or little miracles that show how much God was watching out for Gary and his family. And in fact, Gary did get his life back.
