This week’s situation is “SEE FINISH!” In Nigeria, the slang, ‘see finish’ is like the saying, ‘familiarity breeds contempt’- when a person feels their availability has negatively impacted his or her perceived value. So, how do you build a marriage where a sense of appreciation, love, honour and respect will not wither? To do this, you have to build a culture of appreciation, sustained value and daily activities that won’t let you take your conquest for granted.

We all have some private experience that dwells within us and affects our lives and relationship with people around us. we can deal with this baggage by being conscious of it and the making effort to end it so that it wont have a negative effect on our relationship and most especially not to cause a long term bitterness in our marriage.

Breakups – both for single and married people can be hard to deal with. For this episode, however, I will be speaking more to the singles. If you have been in a relationship for years, you might have had high hopes of it ending in marriage or at least an engagement. The fact that it turned into a break up can make an already tough situation worse. Breakups are more prevalent because people are rethinking their lives and making resolutions about their futures. These decisions can also mean ending certain relationships. Don’t hang on to a bad relationship that isn't meant for u. Any relationship that made u feel worthless, needy, unhappy, taken for granted, angry, jittery or fearful is a bad relationship. A good relationship should bring the best not the worst in you. Please take the time to evaluate your relationships and decide where improvements are needed and/or if you need to call it quits. Commit to making the right decision and I pray you have the courage to follow through.
