    Memory Verses: Romans 12:1-2

Day 1: Consider the life of Saul & discuss: why did he allow sin to remain in his life, according to Pastor Scott’s explanation? Prayerfully consideryour own life and ask the Lord to show you in what ways you “enjoy” the presence of sin in your life. Another way of asking this question is: “In what areas of my life am I “mostly” obedient?”
Day 2: Considering Saul’s example of partial obedience, think to examples in the life of your family. In what ways are your children “partially obedient”? In what ways are you? Have your children changed and repented and become fully obedient? Have you? If you are single, ask a trusted friend to pray with you and help you examine yourself in light of “partial obedience”. What things in your life need to be “utterly destroyed”?
Day 3: Read Eph. 4:25-32 and discuss: Think of another common sin. What would someone need to “put on” in order to demonstrate their desire to repent is genuine? Discuss this with your family or friends. Pray together for the grace you each need to “put on” the things that God shows you to “put on”.
