Fear is an obstacle that can stand in the way of fulfilling God’s plan for our lives. But this is a message for us well, one that we need to take to heart. Join us as we find out more.  Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

  • Apr 20 – Philippians – Pt 2 – Joyful in Imprisonment
Have you ever heard the words “you’re grounded?” When was the last time you heard or said those words? The Apostle Paul was “put on restriction” by Rome for having preached the Gospel. Rather than simply going on and on about how unfair that was, he used his chains to advance the Gospel. He used the time in prison to write many of the letters we now have in the Bible and he used the opportunity as well to witness to the ones who guarded him. All this he did in a spirit of joy, because he felt that if he had Christ then he had everything he needed. Join us as we journey to find out how Paul lived to honor Christ and how we can too! Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

  • Apr 13 – Philippians – Pt 1 – A Note of Thanks
How can you be joyful in a world filled with dissension? How can you call others to joy when you yourself are struggling? The typical Christian today doesn’t know how to answer these questions, because joy is thought to be what comes with prosperity and success. Joy is what happens when your church is growing and when its influence is spreading in the community. Joy is the lack of pressure and hardship. Philippians is a letter that helps us to address these questions and experience a joy that is with us in the ups and downs of life. Come join us on this amazing journey. • Apr 10 – Palm Sunday: What Is It All About?
In the simplest of terms, Palm Sunday is an opportunity to reflect upon the final week of Jesus' life. Jesus did not deny the image that the crowd expected—the fulfillment of the hopes of Israel that He would be their earthly king, destroying the Roman government. Instead, Jesus humbly entered Jerusalem to give His life on a cross, saving mankind from sin and death. One day, Jesus will return gloriously as a mighty warrior in battle (Rev 19:11–16). Palm Sunday serves as a preparation of one’s heart for the agony of His Passion and the joy of His Resurrection. Thanks for listening. God bless you! • Mar 30 – Ezekiel & Daniel – Pt 12 – Forgiveness Sought
Many of us have a hard time saying “I’m sorry” because we struggle to admit that we are wrong. Apologizing places us in a vulnerable situation because we are confessing our failure to someone. Yet the forgiveness that comes after admitting our mistake can restore a relationship, and it often actually strengthens it. Today we’ll observe how Daniel’s prayer modeled how we should approach God in seeking forgiveness for our sin. Thanks for listening, God bless you! • Mar 27 – What We Believe – Pt 9 – Praise & Worship: Why Do We Do It?
We need to admit we probably don’t worship God as we should. We enjoy the singing, the music, the preaching and the company. But it’s not about pleasing us or making us happy. On today’s journey we’re going to address several questions such as: What is Worship. Why do we praise God in song and word each week? And what does it mean to worship the Lord each week? Are you ready for this? Come on...let’s go! Thanks for listening. God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.
