If this Wordle Freindship can survive a month like August, it can survivie anything.
With special assistance from a very special chair, one Wordle Friend devises an advanced solving technique fit for an advanced word.
In a sprawling episode full of riffs and emotions and last stands, the Wordle Friends bring the cursed August season into it's final act.
Something that would rock would be if one of our subscribers phoned up a buddy and played Wordle With Friends with them. Satellite Wordle Freinds, wouldn't that rule?
Theory time. When examining an episode of Wordle With Friends to determine whether it achieves "platonic ideal" status*, look for the presence of the three Cs.
1. Concise. Is the episode in question no longer than 5 minutes and 45 seconds?
2. Comedic. Is there an adequate amount of charismatic banter? It isn't enough to just joylessly speedrun the puzzle.
3. Compelling. Is the gameplay itself gripping, perhaps due to twists and turns or overall level of play?
With this criteria in mind, the Wordle Friends proudly present Episode 173, recipient of the coveted "WWF Platonic Ideal Seal of Approval".
*to clarify, this is NOT the same thing as an "all-time great episode," but rather "an exemplary specimen of an episode".
Wow, just imagine if "mower" been the solve today -- the Wordle Friends would have lost their minds!
The Wordle Friends warmly welcome back the cousin-host of their sister-show in a crossover event of Hanna-Barbera proportions.
