What about global warming? I thought the glaciers in the arctic were melting which would raise the level of the ocean and destroy humanity? I am consistently amazed at the mindset of so many in this country. We just had a horrific terror attack whereby 8 people were killed and 12 more seriously injured by a radical Muslim driving a truck through the streets of NYC randomly running over every person in his path. Halloween is an interesting holiday. I'm ashamed to say it, but early in life I was heavily involved with witchcraft and became a warlock, or male witch, when I lived in New Orleans. I was talking to a friend of mine about the Everglades and how they are literally dying due to lack of water with some 90 per cent of wading birds no longer there and the eco system rapidly disappearing. The problem is a large sugar cane company in south Florida is responsible for diverting the water from Lake Okeechobee out the St. Lucie River instead of allowing it to naturally flow into the Everglades. It's been interesting to watch the many Hollywood women coming out and declaring that Harvey Weinstein and others in that industry sexually assaulted them in one manner or another. News media powerhouses suffered the same fate with Roger Aisles, Bill O'Reilly, Eric Bolling and David Halperin being among the more famous. Professional Athletes and coaches have long been accused of it and there are literally too many to list here. The same is true with professional musicians who want to make it big. I awoke this morning and glanced at my watch and it read 4:00 a.m. So, I got up and headed towards my study to write Words for the Day and noticed the light was on in the living room. I went in there and my wife was watching television. That seemed odd, she was sitting there watching television when I went to bed and appeared not to have ever quit. I remarked that she must love television and she looked at me like I was crazy. Yesterday I had to get an epidural due to a bulging disc in my lower back area. I'd reached a point that I hurt all the time and could not sleep much and could barely walk. After the procedure yesterday, I suffered with it literally all night and in fact still have not been able to sleep. What a difference in my back this morning though.
