Life reminds me at times of football, that there comes a time that sometimes we make some mess up in life, mistakes in life, and wrong turns in life! Just like a football player messed up but gets another play,that’s how the Lord does for us... God always gives us another play, another chance, and another option to get back on this field called life and do it once again! John 12:26 NASB [26] If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

God is good, and God shows us the reason why in this spiritual life you have to turn the channel! Sometimes we stay stuck... when God wants us to move! That’s what you have to get to that conclusion, there always comes a time that you have to turn to a new chapter, a new day, a new season, and stop staying stuck on the same channel that’s not bringing anything to you but just making you continue to be stalled! Psalm 119:40 NASB [40] Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness.

It’s so easy to say what you want to have happen, what you want to see, what you want to experience, and what you want to feel!?!? The question is...... “Are you inspired enough”? Inspiration is a great thing to feel, especially when the Lord is the one doing the inspiration!! When you let God inspire you... there are no limits to what you believe and can achieve! Nehemiah 6:3 NASB [3] So I sent messengers to them, saying, "I am doing a great work and I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?"

It is certainly a temptation to change you, but don’t allow what you can’t control make you forget who you are! As you go through this life, as you go through this journey, and as you trust God you always have to stay who you are because that’s all you have! Philippians 1:6 NASB [6] For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Do you believe in yourself!?!? Do you believe that things can change!?!? I would hope you do, and that’s what is important to make sure that you always keep your faith strong, keep your faith alive, and keep your faith in God always with you!! Because there will certainly be a change, be an adjustment, and be a new start because one day it will change! Proverbs 16:6 NASB [6] By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, And by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil.

Sermon Title: Holding On To Faith Through The Emotional Cycle

Sermon Text: Psalms 119:82 NASB

In our day and time, we see that many people have been overlooked and have been passed over!! There will be times that you’ll be rejected, you’ll be turned away, and you’ll be given the cold shoulder! It’s in those moments where.... you really have to trust God, and grow to love and accept yourself!!! Psalm 119:49-50 NASB [49] Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope. [50] This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me.

It’s always a joy to wake up to see another day! God has been so good to you and me, and there should never be a day when we are silent! We should always praise the Lord, we should always thank the Lord, and we should always give God the glory for all that the Lord has done!! Psalm 113:1 NASB [1] Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, Praise the name of the LORD.

Everyday is a day that God gives us!! We are blessed, and because we are blessed there should never be a time that we stop living because of anything that isn’t from God! Don’t let anything or anyone stop you, when they haven’t been the ones that have blessed and kept you! Matthew 6:34 NASB [34] "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Forcing it won’t work! As you go through this Christian journey, the Lord always has the right pieces to our puzzles! There are times that we try to make pieces fit, when they aren’t going to buy we beat ourselves up because we won’t them to fit when they aren’t! Don’t let it get to you, but you have to let God work it out and when He does... you’ll be glad that He did it! James 4:15 ESV [15] Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."
