This chapter shows the heart, authority, and mission of Jesus. He came to seek and save the lost, but He also calls His people to be faithful with what they have been given.

But the older brother reminds us that we can be near the Father’s house and still miss the Father’s heart.

This chapter pushes us to ask a serious question: are we simply around the things of God, or are we truly following Jesus?

In Luke 12, Jesus gives a strong warning about hypocrisy, fear, greed, anxiety, and being ready.

This chapter includes the parable of the rich fool, the call to seek God’s kingdom, and the reminder that life is more than the things we own.

Day 12 of the 52 Day Luke/Acts Challenge is a great gut-check chapter. Heavy, but good. Like spiritual leg day.

In Luke 11, Jesus teaches His disciples to pray, reminds them to ask, seek, and knock, and challenges the religious leaders who looked clean on the outside but missed the heart of God.

This chapter gives us the Lord’s Prayer, the sign of Jonah, the lamp of the body, and a serious warning against empty religion.
