In today's episode we navigate an extremely uncomfortable territory for the boys. We talk about my first real crush. The boys are not used to talking about girls and girlfriends. They all have cooties! I really tried to get them to share stories about their own crushes, but they were not ready, and they could not wait until the episode was over... so we kept it short. Enjoy the story of my first love, and first heartbreak.

In this episode we dive into the repercussions of making bad decisions. Again. Dad shares his experience as a terrible diver and swimmer, and the boys open up about their own experiences with water. I do believe the boys learned an important lesson about respecting large bodies of water and making smart decisions, specially if such decisions can be life-altering decisions. We kept it light. We tried to laugh. Nonetheless, always remember to be safe and responsible around water.

As we learned on Episode 1, Mud on the Wall, honesty is the best policy. However, sometimes honesty comes from a different place other than having good morals and knowing the difference between good and bad. On this episode we learn that sometimes being honest does not pay off... or does it? The boys also feel more comfortable sharing their own experiences with honesty, doing the right things at home and school, and how sometimes their little sisters like to bribe each other to get away with things. The boys open up about their own injury stories, and we talk about the different ways we reacted to the situation. Some of us were in shock and didn't handle it well. Others were not so much in shock, but did not handle it well either.
