For the last ever Workhates Episode with a guest we are joined by the one and only Tom Ballard. You all know who Tom is and he actually listens to the podcast! So I couldn't think of a more fitting guest to close this out with.

One more episode coming next week with just Brett and Bron.

This week on the Work Hates Podcasts Bron is in Perth doing the Perth Fringe Festival and Brett has just got back from biking his motor bike around Tasmania for a week. Bron lets slip that she has secretly been working a second job this whole time (don't tell her husband) while Brett has some strong opinions about his home town of Perth.

Another great ep of two mates catching up from opposite sides of the country with only one minor technical difficulty.

This week on the Work Hates Podcast we are back with another live episode from Brisbane and two of our favorite guests joined us, Carly Electric and Shad Wicka! Carly and Shad have their own podcast “In My Box”; all about Carly’s adventures as a sex work. Bron is a bit of a prude and hates any talk about sex or bodily functions… so of course Brett can’t talk about dicks and sex. Be sure to watch the video to see Bron squirm any time sex is mentioned while her husband is in the crowd.

This week on the Workhates Podcast we have the Comedian, Actor and Professional Land Evaluator Nick Carr. I’m pretty sure you have all heard of Nick Carr before this episode. He is infamous in podcast circles and has been mentioned on this pod many times. Nick knows a thing or two about housing prices, rental market and how some people are getting away with murder while others are suffering and its completely fucked.

On this week’s episode of the The Work Hates Podcast we are joined by Comedian, Illustrator and… Housemate (really Brett?) Jemma Bayley!!! Brett and Bron are on tour in Brisbane and it gives us a chance to speak to our favorite Queenslanders. Jemma is an amazing stand up comedian, an Illustrator for the global  phenomenon kid’s TV Show Bluey and also the most polite victim of crime we have ever met.

The man, the myth, the crooning force of nature himself! The OC, AKA Jon Cox, AKA The Oliver Clark joins us this week. What can I say about OC that hasn’t already been said? OC is just the best and we love having him on the pod. Who else would turn up to record on a 41 degree day in a 3 piece crushed blue velvet suit? Only Oliver Clark.

OC and Brett just got back from performing at the Woodford Folk Festival and Bron is just about to release her book! More on that in the coming weeks!

If you ever get the chance to see Oliver Clark live you absolutely have to and won’t regret it.

We Are Back Baby!! And this time it's just your two favorite hosts catching up and having a good old chin wag. Brett and Bron spent Christmans together and don't they have a lot to debrief on. This was recorded on some stupidly hot 41c degree day in Melbourne and 2 out of the 3 cameras overheated and stopped recording towards the end of this episode so you might see some strange camera angles used for the last few stories.

And yes you are right, all podcast meetings take place on the podcast so I also have no idea what is going on but we do have some big plans for the 2026 season of The Workhates Podcast! Enjoy!
