She’s good at asking people about their work, so it was great to turn the tables on her and ask her how she finds meaning in her work, and what she’s learned about how others do the same.

In this special episode Rory reads a recent blog post reflecting on listening. While attending a protest and community listening session in the wake of George Floyd's murder, Rory heard this over and over again from the people of color who took the mic:

"Nobody has been listening to us. That's why you're seeing all this pain and anger. Are you listening now? Will you listen?"

We all know how it feels not to be listened to. But what exactly is listening? Why can it be so hard, and how can we do better? And what might happen in our world if more of us actually listened?
