She founded Giggles & Sticks Girls’ Lacrosse to foster leadership andbelonging among girls using lacrosse as the activating mechanism. In recent years, Alexis has been on a caregivingjourney, supporting both of her parents through significant life transitions.This experience has profoundly shaped her perspective on balance, compassion,and purpose—teaching her the value of presence as much as productivity. She isa member of The Binti Circle, anintergenerational network of Black daughters who support one another throughthe shared realities and responsibilities of caregiving. Through thiscommunity, Alexis continues to explore how care, leadership, and legacy intersect in the lives of women who nurture both families and futures.
