What is a 'Knocker Upper', and where would you get one? How would you know if you had a good one?
Sometimes HR terms like 'essential selection criteria' and 'KPIs' can sound like so much gobbledygook to the uninitiated. You may have a vague idea of what they mean, but probably don't give them much thought in your day-to-day work - unless you're in HR, of course.
Knowing how they might apply to you and your business can be hard. In this episode and in the spirit of the 'silly season' we take a fun and practical approach to illustrating how HR concepts can be applied in the workplace.
Join us as we talk about some of the jobs that don't exist any longer, along with roles that exist now that didn't exist before.
How would you choose the right candidates for these roles? And how would you assess their performance on the job?
We always value your feedback! Let us know how you feel about the Work Wonders podcast on our website or via LinkedIn.
Listen next week for our final episode for 2022. It's been quite a ride!
