We've come across some 'interesting' ideas about what HR does...
Now we're nearing the end of Season 1 - with one more episode to come - we discuss some of the myths and misconceptions non-HR people can have about what HR people do.
Have you been guilty of believing any of these myths?
Listen and see if we can convince you there's much more HR can, and will, do for you.
We started this podcast with an episode called 'What is HR?'. Since then, we've traversed some of the highs and lows of management. And there'll be plenty more to come when we start Season 2 in October.
What would like us to cover in Season 2? This is your chance to let us know!

In this episode, we cover your obligation to pay superannuation for your employees (in Australia) and all that entails.
There's a whole range of responsibilities you have if you employ staff and if you get it wrong, you can be up for some serious penalties.
Join us as we talk about how much, when and how you should pay super, along with when not to pay. We'll also demystify the terminology so you can feel more confident about what you need to do and why.
You can also refer back to Episode 11 where we discussed Contractors in detail and if Superannuation applies to them.
