Have you ever done or tried to do a vision board? How did it go? Did you use it daily and allow it to guide you in decisions and actions? Or was it like my previous experiences where I made my vision board and never looked at it again. I also made a digital vision board in Pinterest and would forget to look at that one too. I mean, the entire purpose of a vision board is to use your vision to actually look at it, right?! Until I did this one thing.

As an individual, you have specific combined cluster of skill sets, characteristics, and gifting that no one else has making YOU AS A PERSON NON-PIRATABLE even if what you do can be or already is. Your clients don’t want the same-o same-o. Your clients want and need the unique value you offer. By giving them what they want and need, become pirate-proof because people like doing business with you!

I’ve been car sick three times. And all three times were because of crazy hairpin turns and curves up mountain roads. But, man, was the view worth it at the top! Launching a business is like driving those crazy mountain roads!  You can sometimes feel that you can’t ever really get going because you have to slow down for a hairpin turn or you have to go slow up the side of a mountain in order to not slip and fall. Launching a business is never a straight line to the top. And sometimes you might feel sick to your stomach when a decision sets you back or almost stops you before you start!

But there’s a secret to launching a business that many miss. I discovered this secret by accident. I recognized it during my own business launch but didn’t know it was a pattern until I started mentoring other business owners and startups.
