Barbara is an RN who moved New Zealand to Canada, from bedside nursing in several units to teaching Licensed Practical Nurses. She discusses her transition and career change, as well as moving 14,000 km away and the challenges within. She has decades of diverse experience under her cap and her wisdom is not lost on her students, I myself having been one of them. Through her "no sugar-coating" approach, nurses under her guide are better prepared for their studies and more so, the realities of the career.
