In this week's episode, a listener email from Daniel (No not that one) prompts some discussion about how technology functions in fictional settings. We discuss some foundational principles of technology and bust out a whole bevy of cultural references to help us along the way.

If you haven't already please give her stuff a watch and subscribe.

Worldbuild With Us
Worldbuild With Us is a podcast where we create fantastical worlds with help from you, our listeners.
This podcast is brought to you by Rob…
Important Update
Thank you so much for your continued support, patience, and input. We've been building worlds with you since August of 2019, and after some serious discussion we’ve decided to end Worldbuild WIth Us.
We want to go out with a bang, and so we're dedicating our final episodes to the development of the Last of the Thousand Worlds. We plan to take this thing full circle and end in the month that we started and so August of 2025 will be our last episode. But it wouldn’t be Worldbuild With Us without input from all of you and we hope you'll stick around to be apart of the creative process.
If You Are a Patron
Going forward, we won't be taking any more prompts outside of the Last World, or offering any Patreon perks to patrons (such as early releases, shoutouts, etc).
