In our first episode of the new format, a listener e-mail has us exploring a brand new setting in the futuristic, chrome-laden world of cyberpunk. We talk clans, privacy as a commodity, and obvious super villain Papa John so come give it a listen!

In this week's episode of Worldbuild With Us, we give a grand sendoff to our persistent setting for the last 30+ episodes. But we couldn't let such a beloved setting go out with a whimper, could we? Hell no. In our Apocalypse episode, we bring you four world-ending events for the price of one and bring it all together in a Crisis on Infinite Earths style crossover event.

We got to sit down with Dingo from Dingo Doodles today in a really fun interview where we discover her love of Inuyasha, DnD 3.5 and extensive homebrew. For our worldbuilding-jam we got: the Romance genre focusing on a Monster and Event, with the theme of triumph. If you want to know the twist give today's episode a listen and make sure to support Dingo, her channel and her webcomic! Also maybe just her in general?

In our continued deep-dive into the Path of Thorns we begin to explore the darker side of these peace-loving pseudo-socialists. We also explore some of the deeper themes within the Path itself while exploring some Points of Interest, Monsters, and "Capital" within the nation-state. We also create a dungeon in our first dungeon-jam, similar to what we've done in previous interviews.

Hoo boy we got a spicy one for y'all today. In our first of another two-part series of deep dives into nation-states, we examine the Path of Thorns, a place where healthcare, housing, and education are all free and guaranteed to each citizen. Of course a place like that has to belong in a fantasy world right? Anyway, we give a brief overview of the Path of Thorns, their political system, resources, and culture while talking shit about Ed Greenwood and getting sidetracked by some heavy political theory.

Worldbuild With Us
Worldbuild With Us is a podcast where we create fantastical worlds with help from you, our listeners.
This podcast is brought to you by Rob…
Important Update
Thank you so much for your continued support, patience, and input. We've been building worlds with you since August of 2019, and after some serious discussion we’ve decided to end Worldbuild WIth Us.
We want to go out with a bang, and so we're dedicating our final episodes to the development of the Last of the Thousand Worlds. We plan to take this thing full circle and end in the month that we started and so August of 2025 will be our last episode. But it wouldn’t be Worldbuild With Us without input from all of you and we hope you'll stick around to be apart of the creative process.
If You Are a Patron
Going forward, we won't be taking any more prompts outside of the Last World, or offering any Patreon perks to patrons (such as early releases, shoutouts, etc).
