Believe it or not, the key to ruling as a tyrant is not as complex as you may think. Some dictators have relied on sheer military strength, while others have sought the control of political parties to claw their way to the top. But there is one thing that all tyrants share in common - their mutual love and use of lies. Without control over information, even the strongest tyrant would be easily toppled. In this episode, I talk about how to understand these tactics and what you can do to thwart them as they pertain to the current political hoax known as COVID-19.
Are you encouraged by your reading of the Old Testament? Well, you should be! Because it is in the Old Testament that the Savior of the world is first promised. From Genesis 1 to Revelation 20, all of scripture speaks the story of Jesus Christ and God's plan to provide a sacrifice for our sin. Join me for this episode of Worldview Wars as we consider how the Old Testament foreshadows the coming of Gods one and only Son.
One of the questions that plague our society today is a question of identity - who am I, why do I exist, and where do I go to discover my purpose in life? These are all incredibly important questions that demand an answer. But contrary to what society today proclaims, the answer to these questions cannot come from looking within. If we turn to our corrupt hearts for answers about who we are as human beings we will find nothing but evil and confusion nesting there. Instead, we must turn to our Creator, the Lord of heaven and earth for the answers we need. Join me for this episode of Worldview Wars as we seek to understand Gender Identity and the solution to it.
What does it mean that God predestines people for salvation? Does the Bible teach that men and women have no say in whether they are damned or not? While this issue is complex the Bible clearly delineates an answer to the question, and it is an answer that should leave us encouraged and grateful that God would choose to save anyone, much less, sinners, like us.
Have you ever asked the question, "where did the idea of government originate" or “what should be the limits of governmental authority?" Well, the truth is that the government is supposed to be the servant of the people—a servant who ensures the well-being of its citizens and punishes those who transgress God's laws. Yet government today is anything but a servant because Christians have sat idly by and watched while governments have snatched authority they were never meant to have - all the while setting themselves up as gods to be worshipped. But there is only one government and one governor who rules over all, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians must resist unjust governments, this is not done through violence but through the gospel and authority of Jesus, since all human government is accountable to Him. Join me as we pursue a biblical understanding of the relationship between God and government in this episode of Worldview Wars.
Have you ever wondered what the end of the world will be like? Will it be marked by unprecedented suffering and chaos and the victory of evil, or will God's church be victorious in the task for which we were commissioned - the conversion of the nations. We believe it is the latter. Join me and my friend, Jake Perry, for the first co-hosted episode of Worldview Wars as we take a look at what the bible says about Jesus and His kingdom.
Perhaps you've heard someone call this post-COVID way of living: "the new normal," but does it have to be that way? Is there really anything normal about the direction that this country has been headed, and do we have to settle for this insanity? The answer to those questions is a resounding no! Tune in to hear what the truth is about COVID Mania and how it destroys our country and our relationships.
Perhaps you've heard the term "social justice" before, but what does it really mean, where did it come from, and should Christians affirm this ideology? Believe it or not, this movement has its origins in the teachings of Carl Marx. It is just as Solomon said, “there is nothing new under the sun.” Today we will consider these topics as we examine social justice from a Christian worldview.
