Soon after his arrival on the island, we are alerted to the fact that we have been infiltrated by psychotic androids. Is it a coincidence? After performing a Voight Kamph test on Misha we still cannot be sure. Nevertheless, ‘Misha’ shares his thoughts on the evolution of Suzhou, moral relativism, and his approach to comedy.

In Episode 2 of Worm Island: Portals in Time, we sit down with local troubadour Fay Donovan. Thanks to the chance discovery of a mysterious time portal behind the public lavatories near the abandoned karaoke rooms, we offer Fay the opportunity to travel back in time to kill Hitler. Satisfied with her commitment to the cause, we proceed with tales from her bohemian busking past, insights into her musical passions and speculations on the allure of the Romantics.

In Episode 1 of Worm Island: Cannibals of Worm Island, we speak with Carolyn Decker. With food running out on the island, Carolyn is asked to get serious about her thoughts on cannibalism, and confesses her willingness to eat human flesh. After getting that out of the way, we discusses her amazing travels as a 2014-2015 Watson Fellow and her pursuit of the connections between nature, conservation and writing. She also shares her poems Suzhou Canal and Dust, declares which American nature poet she would most enjoying consuming, and defends the honour of a New Zealand cartoonist from Napoleon’s rapier wit.
