I start off this episode with yet another brief message describing the technical difficulties I found after recording this episode. My apologies for that but the issues are fixed and should be much better from here on out.
This episode I welcome a new guest to the show, Stephen from DreamHerbally.
Stephen is in the behavioral science and research methodology field and a dreamwork facilitator in which I played a small part in his certification program last year. I have been wanting to get him on the show for awhile now and finally the stars have aligned enough to get him on here to discuss the program, it's methods, and many other related things.
He also runs his own company called DreamHerbally where he researches and creates and sells various blends of tea that can be used to enhance dreaming and for other ceremonial reasons.
In this episode we discuss everything from Energy, Time and Space, Dreams, Interconnectedness, Psychedelic Experiences and Integration and much much more.
Stephen references some Robert Monroe books who is an author who discusses Astral Projection and Out of Body Experiences and we get into that a bit as well, which then reminded me of the anime series Ghost Hound that also deals with Astral Projection.
Overall this is a longer but very interesting discussion and I can't wait to have him back on the show again soon to go even deeper.
Please bear with the horrible audio on my side of the conversation and enjoy as much as possible.
Special Guest: Stephen
He can be found on Social Media @DreamHerbally and also the link below to purchase the different tea blends.

I start off this episode with an added message describing the technical difficulties I found after recording. I was using the wrong mic input and it took a lot of work to get it to sound okay. I didn't want to waste this episode because the discussion with our guest was great.
This episode I would like to welcome back our friend Erica who was on our very first episode. I realized after recording that episode as I have done almost every time I’ve recorded, that I missed so much information that I could have gone deeper into with each guest. So I wanted to get Erica back on here so we can address some of those things that we missed out on and to just catch up with her to see how things are going.
As you may remember Erica was hit hard with COVID at the very beginning of the pandemic and had a series of different issues pop up that had put her out of work for a long while and had just made life very difficult for her and her family. I had originally intended to make that episode about the effects a bad case of Covid can have on a person's mental health, and we touched on it a bit but not nearly enough. So this time we go a bit deeper into those areas of mental health and find out some new interesting issues that have come up since then.
We also go on a few tangents and discuss a few other interesting subjects such as spiders and reproductive rights but not about the reproductive rights of spiders. That will be another episode. LOL
It was nice catching up and learning some of the symptoms of Long Covid and how they are being treated.
Please enjoy and bear with the horrible audio on my main side of the conversation.

This episode welcomes back our friend J Jones from the Frown Town podcast.
It starts off with some hiccups and technical difficulties but smooths out and becomes an interesting discussion about wine tasting, micro breweries, pizza, sushi, and online video gaming toxicity. J and I also talk a bit about retro video games and old cartoons and much fun was had.
I wanted to push this episode out fast because it's been awhile since the last one so I did very minimal editing so I hope it sounds okay.
And since J influenced me to pick up the rerelease game Shenmue I & II for PS4 (originally released on the Dreamcast which we talk in length about during this episode) I may end up streaming the game when I start playing it while playing this episode in the background. So stay tuned for that. I will announce it on Twitter and you can follow my gaming streams on Twitch @Wormhole42

**Spoiler Alert**
Welcome back to the Wormhole Manifest. It's been several weeks since the last episode due to my work getting really busy and leaving me hardly any time to get the editing done on this one. But I finally finished it, so please let me know if I've missed anything.
In this episode I bring back my good friend Rob for a special episode geared almost entirely to the anime series Cowboy Bebop as well as several other related subjects.
We compare and contrast just some of the differences between the Bebop anime and newly released live action adaptation that premiered on Netflix Nov/Dec 2021.
We also dig into some of the tech and aesthetics and styles of the original anime and we briefly discuss the endings of the shows, hence the Spoiler Alert posted above. So if you haven't seen them yet or don't care about learning what happens then listen at your own risk. I also read a brief bit of an article I found on TIME's website that has a good description of what the series Cowboy Bebop is about (I posted a link to that article below for reference).
We go on to talk a bit about other Live Action Anime adaptations, Summer Wars, Ghost in the Shell, and a bit too much about Scarlet Johansson, Sing 2, and a few other things relating to the main topic of this episode and anime in general. I listed a bunch of anime reference books I have and also mention my old anime fan club I started a long long time ago and my original email address inspiration. I go off on a tangent and get on a soapbox about different anime in history and some of what it means to me and how it became such a big inspiration to me.
We wrap up the show talking about streaming games, Rob's discord and the ExtraLife Marathon.
BTW its D&D and not DND! LOL This was a fun episode so please enjoy!
Rob's Shout Outs go to the JSS Team to include me, him, and @CoconutMonkey for all the good work we did during the ExtraLife4Kids marathon late last year and reaching our goals to raise funds for the different children's hospitals.
Also we don't want to forget a quick shout out to @Sherrysjoy (Robs better half that you'll hear from time to time in the background of this episode shouting about the Olympics and schooling us about some actors. LOL) Good times!
Shout Outs also go to Lisa @psy_cadillac, VeeChattie, and Rian from the Riancarnation Podcast.

Welcome to Season Two of the Wormhole Manifest Podcast
On this episode I am joined by Lisa who is a Molecular Biologist and we discuss vaccines, the pandemic, anime, and a whole bunch of cool stuff.
We go into a bit about Lisa’s background and education and where she's from. Then we shift into talking about DNA and altered DNA and vaccines and her research and work that she does. We discuss some of my childhood health issues and shots and vaccines I got in the military. We go into a bit about dealing with the pandemic and social anxieties and some of the potential side effects of the pandemic itself. We talk demographics of politics and then swing over to talk about people with anime profile pics and a little bit about anime in general. Then we get into some of Lisa’s past, heritage, and cultural difficulties that she's had to deal with (which we decide we could do a whole future episode about in the future at some point which could really be beneficial to others in the same situation). Then we come back around to vaccines again to wrap it up and why we should all get the booster. It was a really great discussion overall and I learned a lot. I look forward to having Lisa back to talk more and go deeper into some more of these topics.
Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

Welcome to Season Two of the Wormhole Manifest Podcast
This episode Rian from the Riancarnation Podcast joins me again and together we take a deep dive into life.
We start off catching up about the holidays and discuss some geographic information around Vancouver such as the recent destruction caused by some major flooding. We talk more about the area and what you can find there and we end up talking a good bit about seafood before we start to take a deep look into society, expectations, and Harm Reduction.
The discussion brings up the machine of society and tackles elements of substance use and abuse, addictions in general, and goes into expectations, connections, wearing a mask of self, the mask of relation, productivity, philosophy, and how I am an "Agent of Fundamental Evolution at Large" and so much more.
It's a longer episode but we cover some amazing concepts and ideas and it was a really good time.
Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

Welcome to Season Two of the Wormhole Manifest Podcast
This episode starts off with a little special post holiday message from Wormhole_Matt then goes into a new intro theme. Then I introduce our special guest @VeeChattie from the Frown Town Podcast.
Vee and I discuss a number of things. Some of which are how to be a badass, blade working, podcasting, family, buckets or sheep poop, apocalypse prep, covid maps, gay bars, G.I. Jane, getting drown, drugs, and Vee's shroom trip in Boston. I ask him a bit about stand up comedy and advice about getting into it which he says we should just steer clear of for now. Then a bit about insomnia.
It's a fun episode and of course I tend to ramble on too much as usual but please enjoy anyway!

Welcome to Wormhole Manifest: Once your name is on the manifest your journey will begin.
What better way to bring in the Christmas holiday other than talking about Witchcraft?
This episode I speak with Jarred who is a Wyrd-Worker (or witch). This was really fun as we get to learn a lot about what Wyrd means, some interesting things about magic, the occult, and magick. He tells us about growing up as a Christian in the Pentecostal of full gospel church and his move over to witchcraft. We talk about belief systems, being a good person, doing no harm, and accepting that your actions may have consequences. Practices, hexing, astrology, conservative Christian fearmongering, and the differences between types of witchcraft and the areas of origins of these systems. I learned the difference between orthopraxis and orthodoxy and that witches were never burned at the stake in the US. Also that there are atheist's in almost all religions. As must as this was a history lesson it was also a really good free flowing conversation with a new friend. I learned a lot and I hope you do too. Enjoy!

Welcome to Wormhole Manifest: Once your name is on the manifest your journey will begin.
This episode I got to speak with an old friend and podcasting veteran.
The Internets Tayrel713 (aka Tee) gives some sage like advice about podcasting while also talking about Mental Health, being in lockdown, traveling around the Midwest, our trips to Chicago and me visiting the Misawa Japanese Marketplace and anime conventions up there. We learn a little about Ohio from Tee, teaching our teens how to drive, the old days of talking to people on the phone, and we round it all off by discussing some movies and anime that we like. We are both excited about the new Matrix movie movie coming out next week and we talk about when and where we first saw the original and the impacts it had on us. It was a great discussion and I had a lot of fun with it. So please enjoy.

This was a special solo episode where Wormhole Matt maps out the last several years of living in a mental health crisis and steps he's taken to overcome it. He talks about all of the medications he's been on, the situations that lead to his mental break, chronic pain, different mental health diagnosis, life choices, and the things he's done to come to grips with reality and move forward on a path to better health and better living. This was a solo episode just to kind of tell the listeners a bit more about the things that have lead to the creation of this show.
Breaking patterns can seem scary but once you get off the beaten path of habitual routine the adventure begins and it's actually really exciting.
