Mike, Inky and Adam in studio today. Greg and Rob were swept away by a plow truck, never to be seen again (until next week).
We talked about the Super Bowl and whether or not it’s fair to call Pete Carroll’s controversial call at the very end of the game “the worst call ever in a Super Bowl”. We watched some videos of Seahawks fans’ reactions to the big interception by Butler, then we watched one of Mike’s all-time favorite videos.
After break, we had a quick discussion about whether or not the medium that a show is released on affects your desire to watch it – if a show is on Netflix, would you be more inclined to watch it, as opposed to being on ABC?
We discussed the insane snow totals so far this winter in MA, and the fact that we have at least 20 additional inches on the way. Then we talked about the alarmist/whiny population of Malden, MA (where we broadcast from) as evidenced by the comments on the Malden Facebook.
We ended on a discussion about Mel Brooks’s announcement that he’s already working on “Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money”. Inky’s loving it, Mike is a bit more pessimistic. We end on a discussion about whether Mel Brooks’s comedic style would hold up with today’s audiences.
We’re planning on being back next Sunday at 2pm, but Mike might have a work thing going on. If anything changes, you can find out on our Facebook!
