This week we run an anime quiz tournament, a free-for-all with a five-round group stage that decides the seeding. Then it’s on to the knockouts and a final where the loser gets a forfeit. Expect anime openings, shonen power systems, villains, and plenty of arguing with the quizmaster. If you enjoy the episode, please like, comment and subscribe.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to The Worst Generation Podcast! It's our 4th Anniversary! Crazy, I know. We used to share 3 mics between the 5 of us, and now we have a studio with multiple cameras, lol 😂 (not that you audio listeners can see it, check out your Youtube!)

In this special episode, we take a trip down memory lane, with us each discussing our fave moments of the podcast. We also play a picture game where we have to guess the anime character from a zoomed in picture. We also play some Imposter. And yes, we argued every single round.

Loser of the episode does the Hot Chip Challenge, so you'll wanna stick around for that 🌶️

Enjoy the episode! Rate our podcast on whatever platform you're on, please 🫡

This is episode is the first in our new series, FRIEND OR FOE! Our first guest is Akiiki, a long time friend of JJ. 🫡

Each episode, a member of the pod brings on a mate with several hot takes. At the end of each hot take, if we think its valid we dub them FRIEND. However, if we disagree with the take, they're dubbed FOE. At the end of the episode, we tally up the votes and decide overall if that guest is a FRIEND OR FOE.

We often label anime as a single component when discussing how good they are, but what actually makes a good anime?

In our latest episode, each of us were assigned a category (story, character development, main and side characters, and animation/music/visuals) and gave examples of anime that do these well, and that don't do it well. We also talked about how important each of these categories are in anime.

In typical, unpredictable WGP fashion, we end the episode by wondering what anime song we'd play at our funeral. Because why not 😂.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to The Worst Generation Podcast!

In this episode, we first play Imposter: Anime Edition, where everyone has to blend in and prove they have same answer as the rest... except for the imposter who's desperately trying not to get caught.

Next, we switch gears with Agree or Disagree, reacting to some anime takes we could find on Reddit.

Finally, we finish with Family Feud: Anime Edition, where we try to guess the most popular answers to anime-themed questions. Some answers are obvious... others leave us questioning humanity.

Who was the best detective? Who had the worst anime take? And who completely sold the game?
