This week we had a studio full of gingers and boy did things get spicy. Our guest is the one and only John White, joined by our favorite red headed, cookie baking, trivia hosting comedian, Aubrey Forston! Also joining us this week is the lovely Aubrey Forston, a name you should remember. Aubrey has been performing comedy since coming to Reno. She is also the host of three weekly trivia nights: Tuesday Trivia at Jub Jub’s; Wednesday Trivia at Beck’s Brewhouse; and Sunday Trivia at Shea’s! Aubrey brings the comedy and the cookies, you bring your smarts and wits to win bar tabs!

Whoa baby boy did we have some fun with this week’s guest, Skew Ring! Little is known about this mysterious five piece band out of Reno, Nevada. That’s what we’re here for! By the end of this episode you will know far too much. Sorry, not sorry. Listen up to hear what the excellent Reno rock band, Skew Ring, has to say/play (spoilers: it’s mostly gay jokes).

Skew Ring has been around a short time and even after this podcast, little is still known about these elusive beasts. They have recently played The Saint and The Holland Project and there’s talk of an EP coming out soon. Keep an eye on their Instagram for updates on where you can see them in the wild. Congrats on stumbling upon our humble little podcast! This week our hosts sat down with the Adorables to talk some utter nonsense and hear some really great political folk punk.

The Adorables are a bit of a Reno super-group. All three members have been involved in the Reno music scene for years, with impressive stints in some of Reno’s finest rock bands like Stabby Unicorn, Pinky Polanski and Liver Scars (among others!). The Adorables are playing Marianarchy for the first time this December.
