Everyone remembers Frank and Jesse James, the Wild Bunch and all the other famous train robbers in the glorious era known as the Old West. However, after considerable research to find the most obscure Old West tales, I have begun to realize that most outlaws were just the dumb, petty criminals of their day, much like the Florida man who attempts to rob a casino with a cobra or something weird. Here are a few of the crazier failed train robbery attempts.
