Ryan Koglin, a small business owner and board president of the SASY Neighborhood Association, is running for city council this spring.

Current alder Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford, who’s represented the district northeast of Lake Monona since 2023, suspended her re-election campaign in January and backed Koglin on social media.

Now essentially guaranteed a spot on the city council, Koglin sat down with WORT News Producer Faye Parks to introduce himself to the constituents of District 15.
