Worth The Work: Physical Growth In Your Marriage

Listen Later

Physical Growth

Being in a place of activity can free up your mind. Build relationships through exercise.

Pray before a workout. Center yourself with God first.

Emotional Health can come from Physical Health. When you work out and spend quiet time with God, you’ve accomplished something at the start of your day.

The output and capacity that you have is directly impacted by what you eat, what you consume through social media, and who you engage with throughout the day.

Everyday that you stay committed, you gain more and more confidence.

Guard your perception of health. With social media, magazines, and tv, we can fall into the trap of setting a standard that is unrealistic.

Three step plan for Physical Growth

  • 1 - Do physical activity together
  • 2 - Rest together
  • 3 - Plan and cook meals together

Romans 12:1

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

What pleases God pleases your spouse
