WOTA #142 - Living Beyond Right & Wrong

Listen Later

Do you ever work off of pure inspiration? To do this it means letting go of your ideas about what is right or wrong. By allowing room to make a mistake you develop a creative approach that provides a new form of freedom. Every now and then we have a conversation that is off the cuff and we expand on an idea before we have fully thought it out. This is a great practice for the artist because not only does it help you get out of your own way by not overthinking it, but it allows you to move quickly on your creative impulses. In this one we ended up diving into the concept of how we look at making mistakes and we consider perspectives on removing the fear or resistance we have about them. This one may be something that helps you let go of a need to to do it perfectly or flawlessly and will give you options that were otherwise unavailable.
