When we set out to do something in the world we don't always see that other things, that we are unaware of, are happening for us because of it. We may not realize that these other things are the point.

It's difficult to understand the full impact and scope of what we are doing, especially in the arts. Our intentions may give us a sense of purpose and that might be what is motivating us to do something, but the impacts of doing it may be more. In fact, they are likely more important than the focus point we think we are after.

Our nature will take us to places that we do not fully understand and this is the incredible by-product of an authentic pursuit.

True purpose is expansive and it exists often far beyond our awareness. We are unable to know it until we arrive there, only to begin all over again, into an expansive discovery of something more.
