This episode, I take you through what makes the women in this Bollywood classic iconic. Hey there everyone! It's been a minute, hasn't it?

A podcast focusing on heroines in Indian film. Get ready for a ten-episode season, focusing on ten different heroines spanning across the country of India, and how pivotal their stories are for the success of film.

Here we are now, episode three of the new season. This week, I'm going back into the world of the supernatural, discussing everything about Ron Perlman's portrayal of Hellboy from, well, you guessed it, 2004's Hellboy. Is Ron Perlman doing justice to the boy-demon-turned-monster-hunter, or is this character another pitfall? Does Hellboy actually show up as a good guy, or is he evil disguised in, well, evil?

Alright you guys. This week, I'm back to tackling superheroes, which as you know, is a big feat for me. I don't like superhero films, and I especially dislike DC superheroes, and their film adaptations so the fact that I spent almost half an hour discussing them is really something for me honestly. So this week, I decided to discuss whether good vs. evil was actually portrayed accurately by the cast of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. I focused specifically on the roles of Batman (portrayed by Ben Affleck), Superman (portrayed by Henry Cavill) and Lex Luthor (portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg). So did these actors actually portray their hero and villain counterparts well, or was it just casting and acting that shouldn't have come to light?

Alright you guys, welcome BACK to Cast Me Maybe.
Join me as I discuss our first film of season two: Good vs. Evil, 'Gladiator'. Released in 2000, directed by Ridley Scott, Gladiator is a historical epic that boldly encompasses good vs. evil. A story of an army general out for revenge and an emperor with a thirst for power, does this film's cast actually hold up good vs. evil, or is it just overrated?
Hang out with me as I go through the film, the story, the casting and finally decide whether the film's cast perfectly embodied good vs. evil.

Well friends, we've hit the end of the road for season one. The season finale of 'Cast Me Maybe' is finally here. So, join me as I talk about what I think were the five best films, and five best tv shows to be released in 2020. 2020 was walking hellfire for a lot of us, but at least we had movies and tv to keep us company. The films and tv shows mentioned are: Mank, Lovecraft Country, Birds of Prey, The Flight Attendant, Promising Young Woman, I May Destroy You, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, High Fidelity, Emma, and The Queen's Gambit.
So, join me as I go through the five films and tv shows I thought were the best of the year, in every aspect, specifically the casting, and why I think they deserve to be watched.

Succession. Arguably one of the best television shows I've ever seen, and it's all thanks to HBO & HBOMax. Succession focuses on the life of ultra-rich Roy family, headed by patriarch, Logan Roy, and his four children: Connor, Kendall, Roman, and Siobhan (Shiv) as they vie for the title of CEO of their father's media conglomerate, WaystarRoyco. This show has an insanely talented cast, and I think it's time I introduced it to some of you.
So join me as I discuss everything about the cast of 'Succession' and what, in my opinion, makes them so effing good. As usual, stay tuned till the end of the episode and listen along as I play 'Cast It or Pass It' and decide whether the entire, parts, or one actor from the cast of Succession should stay, or if they should go.

Love Life? Not my personal one, but the show named 'Love Life' starring Anna Kendrick. The anthology series about love. Eugh. Do I love it though? Love Life (season one) follows Darby, played by Anna Kendrick, and every person she encounters on her journey for love. Eugh.
So. Join me as I go through the casting of 'Love Life' and decide whether I do, in fact love life, or if I'm on the fence about it. As usual, stay tuned till the end of the episode and listen along as I play 'Cast It or Pass It' and decide whether the entire, parts, or one actor from the cast of Love Life should stay, or if they should go.

Scrubs. One of the best comedy shows of the early 2000s. Right? At least that's what I think. Scrubs graced our screens from 2001-2009 and is still revered today to have one of the best tv friendships on air. But what about the cast? Do they hold up after all these years? Are the actors who portrayed the characters all that they're cracked up to be? Is the show that gave us 'EAGLE' too good to be true?
Join me as I get into Scrubs and discuss the cast in depth and what made them really stand out in a crowd, like a star, or like a sore thumb? As usual, stay tuned till the end of the episode and listen as I play 'Cast It or Pass It' with the cast of scrubs and decide if they should stay, or if they should go!
