This hand had a crazy amount of straddles on as the blinds were at $200/$400/$800/$1600/$3200. Persson kicks off the action from the third blind with a raise to $18,200 with AQo and Keating decides to defend in the straddle with pocket 5s.

The Flop: Jc 5d 2c

The flop is a beautiful one for Alan Keating as he has now flopped a set combined with the fact that Persson continues to fire with a bet of $20,000. Keating decides to correctly slow play and just decides to call.

The Turn: 7h

Undeterred and with a card that hasn’t helped his hand Persson continues to tell his story with a $50,000 bet. Keating makes the call.

The River: 7d

Keating has now been upgraded to a full house which is a disaster for Persson as he decides to shove for $150,000. Keating snap calls and Persson is left with a gaping hole in his bankroll!
