Keating flops best with a pair of queens and checks. Texas Mike opts to fire a continuation bet of $15,000 with just six-high. Peter calls with bottom pair, a backdoor straight draw, and a backdoor flush draw. Stanley calls with an open ended straight draw and Keating calls with second pair and a backdoor straight draw to broadway.

Turn – Ac:
The ace of clubs on the turn brings in the flush draw and broadway straight draw. Keating checks his aces up and Texas Mike decides not to fire a second barrel, as he also checks. Peter checks his top and bottom pair, and Stanley checks behind with a broadway straight.

River – As:
A board-pairing ace of spades on the river gives Keating the best hand with a full house, aces full of queens, which is the second nuts. He checks, and Texas Mikes checks, playing the board. Peter, who also has a boat, aces full of sevens, fires an overbet of $155,000. Stanley correctly tosses his straight into the muck, and now Keating has to decide whether to fold, call, or raise. Will Keating be scared of monsters under the bed and fold his boat?
